This includes the following recertification training pieces as per legislation:
- Use of Force Legislation Online Module
- PPCT Control Tactics
- Baton Recertification
- Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) Spray Recertification **Please email copy of OC spray certification to office@tipofspear.ca
8 hours of online training (self-paced), 16 hours (2 days) of in-person training for a total of 24 hours of training.
You can start the online module anytime, and work through it at your own pace. It must be completed before attending the in-person portion of the training. You will write the final Use of Force exam when you attend the in-person portion.
Once you have enrolled in the program, you will receive communication through the email you provided us, with in-person training date options to choose from.
